Lighting, aircon, motorised curtains, sensors and scenes run on a hub inside the unit rather than on an overseas cloud server, so they keep working when the internet drops and don't depend on any single vendor's app. Condo systems typically start from S$4,550 including GST for smaller units, fully installed.

What goes wrong with cloud-first setups in a condo

• The bundled kit is someone else's system. Many new condos hand over a smart home bundle tied to one vendor's cloud app. When that app changes or the vendor moves on, what you own changes with it. We took one apart.
• Nothing talks to anything else. The developer's app runs the lights, a different one runs the aircon, a third runs the curtains. There's no scene that does all three.
• Signal dies at the household shelter. Reinforced shelter walls and long, narrow layouts leave far bedrooms with weak Wi-Fi, which is where cloud devices start dropping off.
• Every fix is a ticket. Support for bundled systems is often a chat queue that has never seen your unit.

• Management rules. Condos set their own renovation hours and approval steps. We work within them and keep install time short, typically one to three days.
• Existing bundled devices. We assess what came with the unit and advise whether to integrate, keep separate or replace it.
• Window treatments. Motorised curtain and blind options depend on track type and window height, so we check them on site.
• Aircon. Daikin iSmile and Mitsubishi Electric units integrate deeply; other models run through a local infrared blaster.

Condo questions we get asked

My condo came with a smart home kit from the developer. Can you work with it?

Often, partly. Anything that already works with a major voice assistant can usually join through Virtual Integration, and we integrate across brands. Some bundled devices are better replaced. We'll look at exactly what you have at the consultation and tell you which is which.

Can you install within my condo's renovation rules?

Yes. We schedule around your management's permitted hours and approval steps, and most installs take one to three days on site.

Does the system still work if the condo's or my home internet goes down?

Yes. Lights, aircon, curtains, sensors and scenes run on the hub in your unit. Only remote access and voice assistants need the internet.
