What Home-A-Genius is
Home-A-Genius is a Singapore-built, local-first smart home system and integrator, trading since 2017 and incorporated as Home-A-Genius Pte Ltd (UEN 201938113C) in 2019. Our own team in Singapore designs, installs and supports complete smart home systems that run on a local hub inside the customer's own home rather than on a cloud server, so lighting, climate, curtains, security and scenes keep working when the internet does not. We work across HDB BTOs, resale flats, condominiums and landed homes, with 900+ homes completed, serving Singapore and the wider ASEAN region from an Experience Centre in Tampines North. There is no subscription of any kind, and lifetime remote support is included with every system.

Since 2017 we've been on one mission: kill the dumb home. Home-A-Genius was started in Singapore to fix a very Singaporean annoyance: switches you have to walk to, apps that need five different logins, and "smart" gadgets that stop working the moment the wifi hiccups. We have been trading since 2017 and incorporated as Home-A-Genius Pte Ltd in 2019. Our hub, switches and rule engine are shaped by our team here, around the homes we actually work in: HDB flats with no neutral wire at the switch, condos with renovation windows, landed homes that need coverage on every storey, and renovations that run through your ID. Nine years and 900+ homes later, we're still local-first, still Singaporean-run, and still mildly obsessed with not making you pay a monthly fee to dim your own bedroom.

Is Home-A-Genius a Singapore company?
Yes. Home-A-Genius has been trading since 2017 and was incorporated as Home-A-Genius Pte Ltd (UEN 201938113C) in 2019. We are Singaporean-run, with an Experience Centre in Tampines North, and we serve Singapore and the wider ASEAN region.
What does local-first mean at Home-A-Genius?
It means the core of your smart home runs on a hub inside your home rather than on an overseas cloud server. Switches, lights, aircon, curtains, sensors, scenes and schedules keep working when the internet drops; only remote access and voice assistants need the connection. It also means a local team: the system is designed, installed and supported by our own staff in Singapore.
Where is the Home-A-Genius showroom, and can I visit?
Our Experience Centre is at 1 Tampines North Drive 1, #01-20 T-Space, Singapore 528559. The showroom is open daily, 10:00–17:00, by appointment. Our operations and helpdesk team is available Monday to Friday 10:00–18:00 and Saturday to Sunday 10:00–17:00. Every light type, switch and the hub itself are installed and running, so you can try the system rather than read about it.
Do you install the system yourselves or subcontract it?
We do the whole job in-house: consultation, electrical planning with your ID and electrician, installation, programming and handover. The team that installs your system is the team that supports it, and lifetime remote support is included.
What kinds of homes do you work with?
HDB BTOs, resale flats, condominiums and landed properties. We have completed 900+ homes, most of them HDB, and the majority need no hacking or rewiring. Where a wall box has no neutral wire we use wireless switches that bind to the circuit instead.
What happens to my smart home if Home-A-Genius closes?
Your system keeps running. The rules, scenes and schedules live on the hub in your home rather than on our servers, so the house carries on exactly as programmed with no dependency on us continuing to exist.
